The Old Blinking Light Is a hip, trendy, cozy, comfortable dining emporium for guests of all ages. The atmosphere pulsates with a positive attitude. The food delivers with passionate flavors assembled into colorful dishes that are not disguised by flamboyance. Also, they have an attractive wine list both, in quality and price. Service is refreshingly polished and refined. In an area that is developing to be bound by chain restaurants and hopefully not gagged by chain restaurants, the OBL has the potential to be one of Denver's really great independent restaurants. It can hold its own anywhere
**TESTIMONIAL**
If you enjoy Southwestern food, go here and experience flavor. Forget the mediocrity of a chain restaurant. I have greatly enjoyed 3 meals here. The food is prepared with care, featuring a menu that shows creativity and originality. I recently had a meal of 3 appetizers (green chile, truffle fries, and warm beet salad). All food was seasoned correctly, at right temp, and presented well.
**TESTIMONIAL**
A sometimes brilliant, sometimes mediocre restaurant. When the food is on, it's on, lovely, balanced, worth the price. When the food is off, yikes, you can't run away fast enough. Lovely decor, nice room, good margaritas. Give it a try. Update- since new chef came in about a year ago, the place shines. 3, maybe 4 times in a row now all has been as desired- good. Tonight was pure happiness.
Whether you are looking for a relaxing lunch, family-friendly dinner or night out to enjoy excellent margaritas, the Old Blinking Light welcomes you! Named one of America's 10 Best New Chefs by Food & Wine Magazine, Chef Joseph Wrede joins forces with owners Michael Yaccino and Nat Troy to introduce a fresh new taste to the Highlands Ranch community. Influenced by a Taos, NM background, the superb menu offers a wide range of fresh flavors and tastes.
